Not the quickest knit, but fun! All those cables!
Total time - about 4 days of knitting.
Yarn - Rialto Aran by Debbie Bliss
Needles - US 6 for ribbing, US 8 for main
No real mods, did the women's size. Great pattern, a little unclear about how to change the marker around on row 8, but once I figured it out, it went just fine.

I am currently working on that hat and am stuck on row 8. What did you do with that slipped stitch?
I removed the marker, knit the next stitch, replaced the marker, then started back on row 1. I think the slip is a typo, I think it should be knit. Either that, or you're supposed to slip from the right hand needle back to the left. Either way, you get the same result in stitch placement, so I just did it this way.
